The Frat serves up more than 6000 pizzas in two months!
On average the chefs from Il Bene have been creating around 700 pizzas each week since the club’s drive-thru ordering service commenced almost two months ago.
The statistic has impressed club management and continues to provide employment for our three outstanding pizza chefs – Danilo Rossello, Claudio Russomanno and Stephano Cece.
Club general manager Greg Field said the pick-up service had become a popular introduction to the club in response to coronavirus restrictions. “We have been well-received by the community who are enjoying our quality pizzas,” he said.
“We’ve seen a steady growth in their sales with more than 6000 selling in a matter of weeks.”
Chef Claudio Russomanno described the pizzas as “freshness in a box”.
Danilo Rossello added: “I am proud and happy that our customers keep coming back. Thanks for supporting us.”
Stefano Cece said community spirit and quality pizza was the driving force behind the successful pick-up service. “I feel a duty to be part of the community by creating quality food,” he said.
